Hi all, its hard getting a forum started with posts, we all know that. I want to start a group, that will exchange posts. You register on a forum and write two posts and the owner of that forum, will do the same on yours. I think the posts have to be 15 to 20 words each. Good english No spamming allowed Signaturers should be allowed. (I would say no bad spelling, but I am the worst) There should be a time line stated that the posts will be written, eg 48 hours. On your posts you should not say or hint you are part of an exchange group. I think if anyone is not doing return posting, or not posting right, their names should be put up here to stop other people using them. People should say here if they want to post on a forum but only do it when they get a reply from the forum owner, to say he/she will return the posts. People should say what their forum is about, so others will know if they have enough knowledge to write their posts. So let me start. Anyone interested in exchanging posts with me. My forum is for anyone involved in freelance work, eg writers, programmers, graphic designers, sales agents, home workers ect. They can advertise their services for free and their is chat areas. We also have a catagory where webmasters can sell advertisements on their websites under catagorys, all for free. I do not want Adult or Gambling links, thanks Hit the link on my signature, for the forum. If you would like to exchange posts with me, please post here and tell me your forum. Thanks
I'm here I have done some posts on your forum and I see you have done some on mine I like the skin too Cheers Misty http://www.domaindiscussion.org
Well I know why you are not getting any respone here. Most people who look for forum posters, do so because they are short of time and maye be in some cases expertise in the forum niche. You are proposing writing posts in returns of getting posts written. If I had time to write posts for you, why wouldn't I make 10 different ids and write posts in my forum myself. I'd check your forum and post anyway ( no return post expected, at least not yet)
The answer to this question is very simple. He will see the topic in a different light to you. You might create 10 different identities and post on your own forum, but the posts still come from you. Getting someone else to do it introduces another perspective
You are right threeguinewatch, I exchanged posts yesterday, with a guy who had a sports forum. He had posts about American Foothball and Baseball. I am Irish, so I know very little about these sports, so I went to the other sports section, which had no posts. I went to the golf section and wrote about Harrington winning the British open, and even if Woods was there he would still have won it (that statement was to get the members talking) So now his other sports section has started. ( I say the owner only knows AF and Baseball) Also people have the same style of script, so you would spot a mile away its the same person. What do you do, with 10 IDs, keep logging out and logging back in under a dif ID, every time you want to write a post. Lastly, posters might actually like your forum and decide to stay.
If you would like, you can visit my forum PostExchanger.com . There are members there that are trading posts too. Give a try, and let me know what you think.
Hi Arksever, I know nothing about Jave script, let me have a look in the morning, to see If I can post a couple of decent posts for you. (Just back from a party) so it needs to be the morning. But there must be more people who know about Java. Post for the guy and he will post back!
There are people on the forums that know java (not javascript), true that but i'm looking for more general topics on the general boards. ;D I got the java boards covered since im there frequently answering people with their java questions and coding ther software/code example.
Ok Arksever, I will do that this evening after work. Will you go onto mine and leave two posts as well, Thanks
I recently opened a forum for my son, its about several online games called Team Fortress. There is a non-fortress gaming section and a general discussion section at the bottom. The link - http://www.fortresstraining.com/forum/index.php If you sign up and post, send me a PM through digitalpoint with your forum details. Please do not post on my sons forum that you are doing this as an exchange. He does not need to know.
I can do 10:10 if its possible so i don't have to check every 2 posts. pm me your forums so i can sort it out.
Arkserver, I have reged into your forum and posted two posts in the general area, please do the same for me. Thanks
Kev, I had a look at your sons Forum, (very nce) but at 45 years old, I am totally lost on computer games, sorry!
