I want to start a new social community and would like to aim for 100 new membersignups a day starting from day 1. I have a budget of $300-$400. Can you guys give me some tips for a marketing plan. Since I want this to happen from the beginning on and linkbuilding from the beginning wont be interesting enough.
You must indicate: - what the social network offers - how it differs from all the other social networks out there - how you want to "brand" it (do you have a logo, a mascot, a jingle, a banner etc) - what will the new members get when they sign up? - what will the people who refer others get? - do you have a budget for a professional press release? - do you want the members to come from certain countries? There are a lot of factors to consider first
Im probably not going to be alone on this, but i would say 300$ will do absolutely nothing unless you have some incredible niche social community that is better than Facebook, myspace etc.. Can you give any more information on the site itself?
Even i was planning to start one a month back, I had a budget of 1000$ and realized that you need much more for a successful one...... A good script comes for around 300$ And you need a unique design and tons of promotion
I will get uniques users... to join your social community site... In college so will convince frnz to join ..telling your features n they will further call thr frnzzz... n u will have lot many users thr... Rest depends on your site....
You gonna need way more budget then that to make it successful. Off-the-shelf softwares would not get you much far; you gotta come up with your idea.
I think you might have to get a free script or get a bigger budget. Because finding an application isn't half the cost, it's also the advertising and marketing you have to do. If you want 200 members a day you better find some more money to dump into it. My social network app(not even finished) that I'm creating for myself--I wouldn't let go for less than $4500.00...when it's done I would value it at $10,000 per se because I've worked more than that in hrs of labor
