I have a site in which I would like to sell the Amazon Movie DVD'S and also promote Amazon Movie streaming. Now my question is that where do I take the Posters or images of the movies? If I use the amazon posters or images for individual movies then is that a problem? Is there a chance of getting DMCA complaints for the images? And do I need a site website license? If so, then from where do I get the license? And by the way, I'm from outside the USA. I have done some blogging, but now to run a website genuinely I need some advice's & where to get (privacy policy) (DMCA) (Copyright). And most of all the storyline or plots of the movies are same in Amazon, Imdb and most other sites. Can I use the storyline or plots from Amazon? If I use , will I ge t a copyright complaint? Thank You.
I would think that when you aggregate the products an image would come along with it. Additionally, or depending on what you are using, you sorta wind up with custom taxonomy or post type for this if you want to add some other info... Off the top of my head IMDB is a good place to get posters if need and this is also floating around http://codecanyon.net/item/wp-imdb-automator/3717978 the trick is to associate them with what is essentially a product post. hope that helps, Nigel
Tnx for the info, but if I use the IMDB posters or the plots and storyline there is a high chance of getting a copyright claim (DMCA) for the posters or the images, in that case what should I do? And can anyone please give a brief description about a sites licensing, copyright and privacy policy process? Tnx....
