want to show latest post on homepage - how to do that

    I am using this theme.

    It shows latest single post on the home page from a particular category like cat1, cat2.

    I want to show the latest post that are recently written. How can that be done.

    Use the Recent Posts Widget...it can be activated from Wp-Admin>>Design>>Widgets.

    You can use Widgets from your WP dash board or you can search for plugin for that feature.
