Want to sell my website in HOT ENERGY niche!

    hey,

I made a product around a month ago for the hottest niche on CB atm (renewable energy) and due to cash flow issues and not being passionate about this product, I want to sell it.

I've invested around $1500 on it and got around that much back in sales through PPC testing and affiliates.

Currently it's on 4.20 gravity on CB because I haven't really spent much time promoting it. I created a great product and business model for it, but I just haven't been promoting it.

About 2 weeks ago it was making around $50 profit/day and for the past week that's dropped down to $10-20/day. I'm literally doing 0% work on it.
Refunds are under 5% too which is better than this industries standard and proves it's a quality product.

What i'm trying to say is, this product has HUGE potential for someone who know's what they're doing as they could make upto $1000/day with it i'm sure. But due to some bad decisions, my cash flow is very tight and I can't continue with massive PPC advertising. When I launched it a few weeks ago, I made $274 on day 1 through PPC alone by stupidly throwing together a campaign with 100's of kw's to test. And it broke even that day, so with some tweaking you can see it's got potential.

But here's my dilema; since it's not really making much money now - where could I find buyers that would be interested in purchasing it?
I've sold sites on site point before, but those people are usually interested in established sites that are already doing well.

The product in question by the way is www.powerhome4free.com

    thanks in advance,
    Alex.

Really nice product, but I think you will have problems with transferring this product to another Clickbank members....All those address and name changes are a bit complicated, I guess.

I am not actually interested, but what's the price range you are looking for?

P.S. This should be in buy/sell/trade section.

You're going to have a tough time getting a decent deal with only 2 weeks proof of earnings.

Hmmm Alex, I don't think you're going to be able to sell it for $10,000 that's way to much money for this kind of website, if it was already making , about $1,000 per month or something like that of consistent sales, maybe. You know because people ususally pay X8 - X10 of the profit a site is making.

People don't care how much you invested, that's sad but true :(
People don't care if the site has "Potential"

    Good luck my friend!

I was seriously interested in buying this for maybe a grand or so but $10,000? Hell I could make my own product/page for this and be up and at the same point as you within the month and for ALOT less than $10,000.

I am not knocking you or your site, its just a reality that you wont get any where close to that.

    Agreed.

The product is new and doesn't have affiliates. If it was established product and making some sales, then $10k may be worth for it.

However, you can build similar website spending much less.

    Graphics? - probably about $1000
Sales letter? - ok, another $1000
LiveFace? - don't really know how much is, but $500 should be alright
Some other expenses, like affiliate tools, web design, etc - $1000

So overall for about $3000-3500 you can launch a product.

P.S. those numbers are estimated, and I am sure, you can get cheaper deals.

People buy for the value, not on how much you invested. $3k-6k is probably a more reasonable range.

You'd get 10k easily, but only if you're making high $xxx a month with several months to prove it. Otherwise you'll be able to sell for low $xxxx.

Sitepoint is the way forward btw.

Your price if you were selling any other product and not a clickbank product it would be around $1,000 at most. Lik said above how much you invested does not matter. I could have invested a million into an E-book but if it is only making $100 a day then why would someone pay me more than a million for it. If I were you I would ride the product out and see what happens with it. If anything pay another $500 to promote it to affiliates to sell your product.

It isn't... believe me. I've done it. And in my experience, clickbank guys are responding very fast to the mails.

the costs for me to create a product would be

    Clickbank....$50
    Hosting .....$120
    website name $10
writing book...$0 write your own ebook
    page creation..$0 hubby's a graphic artist
Sales copy..$0 I have been studying for 6 months

    Total = $180
time of course needs to be added.
if you have an email like get response that needs to be added.
if you outsource that needs to be added.

I think anyone could do it with the bare necessities for about $250

I think you should go to sitepoint for sure.
