I would look at contacting a lawyer in your area. I'm not familiar with how it works in India, but in North America usually you just have to till out a name registration, then some basic paperwork, and pay a license fee (total time is about an hour, but there is a 24 hour waiting period to register your business name). All of this is done at your city's town hall or commerce bureau - but it may be different in India. So find a lawyer, they can tell you everything you want to know in 1-2 hours and you'll have your bases covered. If you can't afford a lawyer for 2 hours, then just call your city hall. They will till you what you need to do.
The domains are treated as the assests, if you are individual then it would still yours legally and if you are a company then you can add your company name in the whois information. and the domain will be assests for your company.
As far as I know, you need to have PAN card. You need to contact any Charted Accountant and verify your income for tax proof. The registration starts now. I think the charted account can help you easily on this. The registration is around Rs2000 I think. May change according to the size of the business etc. If you have your brother or sister and if u start by partnership then you can save huge amount of Tax.
