Want to Publish an Ebook - Best MEthod?

So I want to publish an ebook but Im not sure what method is the best or which has the opportunity to make the most money.

I can Publish through

Amazon (create space)

Barnes and Noble (pub it)

Or Make a PDF

With amazon and barnes and noble, they take a chunk but....they will also have a market

If I just make an ebook pdf I can keep all the revenue but will not have the marketing power/reach

I also not sure about e-readers (kindle/nook/sonyreader)

any advice would be great!

I would use a combination of selling the ebook in forums and on big official sites, like ebay or amazon.com

The book will be about Search Engine Optimization or Creating a Blog I have a few niche ideas.

And I have done a bit of research and there are sites like smashwords that help you create a book then format it for sale in various places like amazon and the apple store

 

You should try WarriorForum. Ever tried that? You'd make a lot of profit from that place.

 

Of course Ive been to warrior forums? But how would I make a killing?

 

I would make it a PDF and publish it as your own.

It's the best way to get your name out there and also to start a reputation.

with your question, I suggest you just stick it out first with PDF (most gadgets and devices use PDF as a document reader) and for the marketing of your e-book, there are a lot of marketing channels

1. launch it through Ebay, Amazon etc. (revenue sharing)
2. Create a merchant account in Clickbank (specifically for digital products/ revenue sharing as well)
3. Launch to PPC Campaigns (Google Adwords, Yahoo Search Marketing, adCenter,, Facebook Advertising)
4. Do your own SEO and Link Building Campaigns (or outsource)
5. Sign-up as Advertisers in Various Affiliate Networks which will accept your e-book (revenue sharing)

Actually there are more but if you want to make a hard push on selling your e-book then I suggest those will do

It's great Amazon and Barnes and Noble are giving that fantastic reaching power to the masses to sell their ebooks

 

I would make it a pdf and sell it here to see how it does. If it does good &
you receive great feedback... fine tune the ebook and self publish it through
amazon.

 

Lulu.com also helps you send it to the Apple store.
I also like Clickbank, but you need to promote it first, get some affiliates to help... after that then other affiliates will find it.
