    My company has released an API and I would like to announce it at DP, but I don't want to violate any rules. Wanted to make sure it would be ok to post in Programming.

    We're not looking for customers as much as making sure the SEO community is aware that our API exists and we'd like to match make with partners, programmers, tool developers etc.

    Can a mod bless this or strike it down? If there is a better forum for this, please let me know. TIA.

    Provide some value in your announcement (something useful for others) and avoid making it a sales thread. You will be fine then.

    Anyways, the worst you can get is a mere infraction.
