Want to pay from unverified paypal account

    I am from India and have unverified paypal account. does hostgator accept payment from unverified paypal account. Please help. I want to start a wp blog soon

    If you have funds in your PayPal you should be able to pay regardless of your verification status. Sometimes though, depending who you're paying to through PayPal, they require you to have a credit card on file, but most times you can just use the available funds in your account without one.

    Well,AFAIK,Hostgator accepts payments from unverified Paypal accounts.

    it depends upon the seller if he accepts payment from unverified paypal or not.

    i think unverify account maybe limited in payment or even cant pay to some other. Why dont you verify it with just a few bucks ?

    Yeah, followed your advice ... just did a live chat with the customer care service. They said they accept the payment as long as there is money your PayPal account even if it's unverified. So, that means they accept the payment.

    If you also want to register domain names, Namecheap also accepts payment from unverified Paypal account.

    I was having the same problem, and I found both answers to my question and wanted to share with you guys .. I hope this helps, Pushkar.

    As an Indian PayPal member you can only pay with credit card so you have to add a credit card before making the payment. For fraud prevention I don't think PayPal will let you pay through a credit card without verifying it first.

    you can pay with unverified paypal account, but if you choose to receive money, there is a chance your account might be frozen

    you don't need to say you are an Indian when signing up for paypal put any other non US country, that should solve the problem.But put ur real name on paypal otherwise hostgator will ban you because it will look like you are stealing from someone's paypal account
