Want to move to another reseller - possible to take WHM backup and get it restored?

I currently have about 15 websites on my reseller hosting account accessible through WHM. Taking individual cpanel backups and restoring them would be quite a pain. Is it possible to take one big WHM backup which will take all the sites and get it restored?

Would be grateful if someone can guide me on this.

Unfortunately, that isn't really possible. The closest thing to that would be the "Transfer" tool in WHM, but I'm pretty certain that isn't available at the reseller level.

Your new host should be ableto transfer them all for you. Have you asked them to do it?

are you sure th enew webhost can do such a transfer without me having to backup sites individually? That will be quite fine.

Yes I can agree with this also they will most likely need your login details and should willingly do this for you I have had my re sellers account moved a couple of times in the past but they offered this to me. Also it went smoothly besides a few clients that were not notified of the move due to their emails being invalid and them not receiving the notification You should ask your new host if they will help in this transfer and if they say no then I would find another one who will. Hope this helps

Unless you have root access on your existing account (which I doubt you do), it is going to have to be backed up at some point. The transfer feature in WHM makes a full backup first as I recall. So one way or another, the sites are going to be backed up. WHM will do it all automatically though, when your host does it, opposed to you having to back them all up manually yourself.

    Yes it can be done.

You need to ask your new hosting provider to do the transfer.
