Hello everyone! I'm new to this forum, and looks like it has a great knowledgeable community! So I need your help. I would like to make a website and have AdSense on it. The Problem is I have no idea what kind of website I want to make. Would be great if you can give me some ideas. What I do/Like: I am a Computer Tech I love electronics Basically I'm into all kinds of Technology stuff! Thanks
basically you can have blogs on any niche. consider your liking I would advice you to choose one you like the best but be warned 1. Tech related niches are not high paying ones 2. Already loads of tech related sites are there. Can you compete with them? Sites like engadget and gizmodo are churning out 30-40 blog posts a day. can you manage 1 minimum? 3. Tech audience tend to click ads less. Try to narrow down to something with medium traffic and medium advertisement. Go for a small niche like maybe mobile phones with 3mp cams only or something. You cant start a general and broad targeted tech blog and expect to make it the next big thing
I see. What if I write something about Computer Help? Like giving out some cool information about fixing your pc?
Rule # 1: Stick with what you know/love. With what you know, you could make 100 different sites/blogs/fourms all with different slants or "niches".. I went through the same thing you did when I first started my site. Since the site was generating over $1000/month in only four months (and in total nearly $300,000 in 3.5 years) I wrote an ebook that explains some of the things I did, why i did them, etc. That ebook sold nearly 1,000 copies $10/each, but now there is a free HTML version in my blog.
