I really want to learn how to create blog templates for wordpress and blogger. I already know a lot about HTML, PHP and XML (I also know C++ and C but that doesn't matter, does it?). But still I can't create blog templates. So do you know any ebooks that can help me learn and become an expert blog designer. I am ready to buy them and put in maximum efforts and time. I also want to be an expert in photoshop. So please suggest an ebook for that also.
I used to download some templates and pick them apart piece by piece. If I needed to understand one of the tags or styles more... I would look it up on w3c's school pages. w3schools.com/html/ w3schools.com/css/ Also... you need to learn that different software will use different ways to theme their code. Wordpress uses what they call "The Loop" to display the posts. You will want to understand that before creating any WP theme.
