    Hi, I want to know what is white hat SEO. I am really interested in seo so want a deep and full knowledge about it. Please guide me if some one can help me.

    white hat - and black hat -

    black hat - is the automation kind of way to go about it - so the things that could be considered spammy - like auto bots trying to get included in blog comments and that... or xrhummer stuff -

    white hat is where ppl try and produce ethical seo - so clean it up - like going to the blog comment sites and adding to the debate rather than trying to spam it -

    to learn it - just get stuck in and try try try - you'll soon see what works and what doesnt...

    remember in seo - your not up against the search engine - your only up against your competition,

    Basically white hat seo techniques only Meta Tag optimization, Title tag optimization, URL Optimization, Image Optimization & content optimization this all techniques are include in On Site SEO & you will move on Off Site SEO then blog commenting, Social Bookmarking, Directory Submission, Article submission, Press Release are white hat seo techniques.

    White Hat SEO - is the SEO technique that you can employ without violating Google rules, so it is ethical SEO.
    White hat seo is divided into two:

    1. On-Site SEO: this means everything that you can do yourself to make your site content becoming search engine freindly.
    Such as using meta tag, using keywords in your post title, using right kind of category name, alt attributes, robots.txt, sitemap etc.

    2. Off-Site SEO: this is about getting links to your website. To get links you can do the following:
    Article submission, particiapte in social media, join online groups, make comments and leve your url, blog posting, press release etc.
