Want to know what is blogging?

I am new seo anyone can teach me what is blogging and how to do it and it's advantages?

Blogging is writing reguarly about a topic using a blog application such as Wordpress.

 

And a way of minting money - using ads on your blog. It is not as easy though..
Here are some tips to start with
a. Start to write whatever you feel you wish to write about on a public blog.
b. Ensure you have a good amount of text - content which is not picked up from other sites (thus unique)
c. Make a habit to post regularly.
d. After 300 odd posts .. you would have enough content for search engines to pick up keywords from your blogging to index them and start showing your link in search results
e. You can add adsense etc... once you have spent enough time reading / watching what others are doing in this field.

I have done about 10 posts and am getting search engine traffic. Nothing substancial yet though, about 20 uniques per day.
