Just how much would you pay for a LLLL.com domain? No PR, no traffic.... just a short four letter domains with no meaning.

You will get 10 different answers,
personally I would pay nothing for a name with no meaning.
It all depends on the person, how much would you pay?

also, beauty is in the quality of the letters.

    e.g. AAAA.com will get a higher price than JQWZ.com

some good LLLL.com to get (if you can) are ones with a CVCV pattern or VCVC pattern (C = Consonant, V=Vowel), and ones which are easily pronounceable.

You can check namebio.com to get an idea of prices, and also just look at the buy/sell/trade section here on DP to see what they are actually selling for.

    AAAM.com sold for $15,000 (Sedo)
ZAYO.com (CVCV, pronounceable) sold for $7,500 (Afternic)
    KRPV.com $15 (DP) http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=470656

There are still thousands of low quality LLLL.coms available to register, and random low quality LLLL.coms drop all the time.

If it like CVCV you can sell it for good price (about $10k)

There are some valuable "unprounounceable" 4 letter domains, but they have sites built out. For example: IMDB.com.

If you want to see what prices are like at auction, you can search for LLLL.com and CVCV.com that are currently available at auction and $5 bin at:
    http://dopedomains.com/?search=LLLL.com
    and
    http://dopedomains.com/?search=CVCV.com

(any combinations of L, N, C, V, * work, use lower case for exact matches so hVCV.com would be anything that was h-[Vowel]-[Consonant]-[Vowel].com)

I'm beginning to have my doubts over LLLL.com domains. Personally, I have a large collection of these domains, but sales wise it's not doing too well.

QEJQ.COM seems like a easy to remember domain, although there's not much meaning to it. E.g imdb.com too. There's just no buyer for it.

I'd like to ask to ask what the potential of a CVCV.net which is pronouncable and a dictionary word?
