if u want to insert the map .. just add the pic of the map..
or if u want to insert good quality search able map... try to find out the html code for the maps...!!

 

I use Google Maps for this, creating my own map with custom pointers and then embedding the Google code within the html of my page. Users can then zoom in an out, switch from map to satellite views and all other Goggle Map functions

Just ask the all-knowing-power itself - Google. I searched "insert google map into website" and found this website:
hxxp://www.searchengineknowledge.com/hosting/embedgooglemaps.php. (just replaced the hxxp with http)

Just follow the instructions on this page and you should be right. I'm assuming you're not using a CMS like Joomla, Drupal or even Wordpress because if you are, there should be plug-in that can do this for you.
