Want to find best email extraction/harvesting software

Please recommend best link for software which enables me to extract/collect email addresses (to promote my URL in a special promo email) and at the same time, email a specific promotional email to each address it finds. I have found Power Email Harvester, but it does not allow you to configure the software to search SPECIFIC sites, i.e. where you'd enter keywords to locate specific sites that you'd like to market to....

visites Arelis but they only put out web site promotion & link building software. I'm looking for a program that will simultaneously extract email addresses by entering specific search keywords and simultaneously submit a promotional email to each address it finds.

This better not be for V LAGRA or other unsolicited purposes! If your URL is ethical and you follow the rules then a one-off email can't cause too much hardship. Perhaps have a look for a free PHP script - I'm sure there's one out there somewhere!

No, I do not like to, or intend any of my emails as SPAM. As you might notice in my previous post, I want to find a software that allows mo to target SPECIFIC recipients and harvest / extract those email addresses. Not a broad spectrum, as is what SPAM deals with.

spam.. spam ... spam... something stop him

you have other good ways to promote your product, writing articles and posting them into article websites. but probably you want to promote something that smart people will know it is a bad product

just because that's what arelis was designed to do doesn't mean that's all you can use it for if you're clever...

Sending even "targeted" emails to ppl who did not request it is spam.

if that's the case, then contacting anyone before they contact you is "spam."

if a webmaster has their email address listed on a "contact us" page, then in most cases it's no longer unsolicited-- although they may clearly state don't contact us with such and such, in which case you'd obviously have to be compliant with the requests.

    Disgust,

"if that's the case, then contacting anyone before they contact you is "spam.""

In his original post, dinrock said, and I quote.... "Please recommend best link for software which enables me to extract/collect email addresses (to promote my URL in a special promo email)"

Now obviously if he wants software to "extract/collect" emails, he will not be sending to ppl who have requested those emails.

Ofcourse sending emails to your buddies asking them if they want to go out for a drink even though they haven't contacted you first isn't spam. Let's keep the discussion sensible, eh?

Don't make your own definition of spam.

If you send 100 or more e-mails in 24 hours to harvested e-mails, you are commiting a federal crime. If they did not specifically ask to be e-mailed and you do not have their IP address, a website log, and time/date of opt-in to prove that they wanted to be e-mailed, you could find yourself owing millions of dollars and in prison.

    http://www.spamlaws.com/federal/108s877.shtml

You won't find a host that will let you e-mail spam. Guaranteed.

The minimum to be considered spam is 100 in a 24 hour period. A simple Google search would have explained that.

Thread Starter --> If you want to spam, you can do it without breaking the law. Be smart, that's what business is all about.

Spam indeed -- have a quick look over at MAPS. The definitions are very clear, and the penalty for each e-mail is $11,000 payable to the FTC...

But hey, if you really believe that this isn't spam, please, post the URL of the website being "promoted" !! I'm sure you won't mind?? ;) After all, it's totally legit, right?

there are legitimate means to extract/collect emails to contact them.

not every posts needs to go into the ethics of various tactics-- he asked how it could be done, and I told him. with arelis it's possible to do it in not only a legitimate but also a very targetted and completely legal manner.
