    There are some ready made scripts out there, such as Zen Cart or OS commerce that provide the same solution. Consider it, unless you are after a bespoke solution

    It is called ezypal. It can be used as a starting point and then customize to best suit the purpose.
    By default, it supports selling digital goods like templates in your case. Comes with a robust end user interface.

    I can have it customized for you if it sounds ok.
