Sometimes it really takes longer before Google show the changes.

    hi
There is, however, one reason that squidoo lenses may be punished beyond the ordinary by a change in title: links within squidoo are often very much dependent on the title. Links on tag pages, featured lenses modules, even the squidutils directory they’re all dependent on the title.

Tag description shows as the black text on Google. By editing the title and meta description for each listing you are ensuring that Google knows that you have unique content for each page. Before this new feature was added
all the title and meta description for the listings were the same, taking the information directly from the listing itself.

    Hi,

In my own experiences, changes on pages with PR 4 or above would be indexed promptly. Thus, I think building backlinks from such sources would be more helpful for your purpose.

    all the best,

How is regularly your content updated? If you have them updated regularly then bots will crawl and cache based on your content update pattern. Please be noted - After Google cached your new page and acknowledge the change you made on title tag, you ranking may be fluctuate due to this change. It is a temporarily and the results can be both positive and negative after the fluctuate ended.
