Anyone have proxy newsletter sites? It doesn't have to have subscribers or anything, I just want the script to run it.

you know these are custom scripted sites, right? quite original actually, that is what makes them successful. there is a lot of time involved, especially with the features you are requesting.

if anyone makes such a script to sell it I am interested as well. This script has numerous uses, not just for a Proxy.

I am also willing to pay a programmer to make a similar one for me as unique so I can resell.

my current script is good for subscription/un-subscription and sending mails to the subscriber (it works with one central database and multiple websites)
The advertising function is for later (this can be done with a paypal button in the beginning)

 

in all honesty if you're looking to sell it that is the most attractive feature and most likely the one that most of us are waiting for.

with a bit of my own customization (HTML, etc)

NOT automated... you have to update most things manually..
Adding sites in the sidebar, changing the display number of subscribers in the advertise page, etc.

I'll be selling this thing once it has 100 or so subscribers.

your missing the point here. the objective is to get an automated version. your selling us something we have to continually update which is not ideal.

 

Yea.. i understand that.. and am aware of it, however, you must understand the fact that something that is fully automated, such as Proxyshout, etc... will cost big $$$ since there's no such script (so you'll have to have it custom made)

Update:
Made a few changes today.
1.) Advertisers can purchase directly by using Paypal buttons (however, you need to update the pages manually by adding the links in the sidebar, and the number of advertisers in queue)

2.) The number of validated subscribers updates real time, automatically, thus giving an accurate impression.

well.. mine is almost the same..
except the fact, that i use a newsletter script to manage, and send newsletters out.
the subscriber count is updated automatically, and payments are made via paypal using a PayPal button..
after successful payment, the advertiser is redirected back to a page where he can submit his proxy info, etc.

but takes 6 seconds to turn it to a web based newsletter(like phplist open source newsletter )
ill just change a box

and about the paypal button
yeap the same here after the payment the customer is redirected to the "thank you" page
