    hello

ok i need some help here from someone that know about lcd tvs :D

i want to buy a 32 sony bravia or samsung ( or another brand if better )

i searched the net and i found that this one got good reviews

    http://reviews.cnet.com/flat-panel-tvs/sony-bravia-kdl-32xbr6/4505-6482_7-32815330.html

so what do you think ? should i buy this ? or is there better ?

ps : some people on the reviews said that it don't have 120hz refresh rate but only 60hz so what difference does this make ?

Refresh rate refers to LCD color sharpness. more Hz rate more clear and sharp picture you will get. and also keep in mind the more contrast ration is the better. and also response time. response time the lower the better.

As for the refresh rate, more is not necessarily worth the extra investment, as the devices that are being displayed on the TV have to support it as well. Most devices don't output at 120Hz or 240Hz so the difference is slim, most are at 60Hz I believe (other than computers).

Look for response rate and contrast ratio, as rukn2002 has stated. Questionable things from the Bravia series though (I have one upstairs), LG & Samsung make excellent HDTV's though.

I personally can't wait for the LED TV's to come down in price :)

so the there is no huge difference if it is 60 hz or 120 so what do you think about the lcd that i posted it's link in the first post ? i mainly will use it for ps3 or xbox360 and watching dvd movies and normal satellite channel

PS : i found on another site that says it's response time is 8-millisecond pixel so is this good ?

and what is the difference between lcd and led ? i just saw today in some shop one lcd ( LG ) and one led ( samsumg ) they were put together and the response time on the lg was better i noticed this because both on them were there

also on the led because of the response time sometimes the picture moves faster to make up for the response time ( i don't know what the hell this thing is called lol but it sucked and i didn't like the samsung led because of that )

and thanks a lot for the replies

Hey according to me don't with review only, Visit the nearest showroom and ask all the details and features about that and decide you have to buy ti or not. Visual Demo is more effective than other resources.

    Hope you got the idea.

Well, its looking good. But do compare the design of two models of different brands and then buy. :)
So, a Show room of LCD tvs can help you out.

Your better off looking at the tv at a atore. Make sure to aks wich one is best for gaming i am sure someone will know and tell you why. The refresh does effect somethings so take your time and see how they look before you buy one.

I would avoid LG with a 10 foot pole. That company is innovate, but can't make things work. I've had a dishwasher, a phone, and they were repaired so many times it's horrible. I ended up returning the dishwasher after the 3rd repair and am glad I did.

I would go with Sony or Panasonic or even Samsung if you can afford it.

I've had an LG phone before, I agree in that case! However the dishwasher is a slightly different subject seeing as it has moving parts and so on.

I've got an LG tv and for the price I bought it for, I've got no complaints. :)

It was the overall operation of the dishwasher. It didn't do what it should of done which was "clean". All 3 repairs were made within the first 20 days.

Go for Sony Bravia S Series 32" LCD. My relative have it and working fine for them...But if you go much deeper you can find some good features in some other brand. So in my view go for Sony .....
