I have a couple of automotive blogs and they are on boring free themes. I am looking to spend some money on a good magazine style theme for wordpress.

    Any suggestions?

I have to second the notion of WooThemes. I am running it on my web 2.0 blog right now and it looks amazing. They aren't hard to customize to fit your blog's logo and color scheme, they easily allow integration for ads and Analytics, plus some other cool features that just aren't matched at any other Wordpress themes vendor. WooThemes all the way dude!

Buying a premium theme that has the style and functions that you need is not a waste of money. Investing in your business is not a waste of money. True, Arthema is a nice theme, but it is also used by hundreds of sites.

You can't do everything online on the cheap and expect to compete with webmasters who are not scared to invest.

The benefits of purchasing a premium theme from a reputable designer, or company is support and updates. And most times you can be sure that it is coded correctly, and does not contain any embedded links that redirect readers to someone else's site, or back link somewhere for SEO purposes.

Very few "free" themes are actually free.

I just checked out ThemeForest and their stuff is AWESOME. Just bought the Unique theme for $32. Premium like Woo for a fraction of the cost.

I recently stumbled upon a site called the theme foundry. There is not a big selection of themes but one in paticular called traction is really good.It costs $48 but you get to choose a second one for $24 which works out pretty well.I have used the theme myself on a number of occasions and have found it to be excellant as is there customer service.
