    Its not me but on behalf of someone else

    I live in India & going to Australia for next 3 years.
    I want to buy a laptop from India for home, college use in Australia with full customer support, full warranty in Australia & a better laptop with latest & good features.

    Well I have no idea which laptop to go with ?

    Few configuration I am looking for...

    Intel Core 2 Duo Processor (Give me more info on what options I have in core 2 duo processors)
    120 or 180 GB HDD
    1 Gb RAm
    256 NVidia Get Force 8600M Gt video card (I don't know whats this but found some excited with this thing, so tell me what is this plz)
    Bluetooth
    Card Reader
    Web Cam
    WiFi
    LAN
    USB Ports
    DVD Writer
    14" or 15"
    etc......

    Ranging from 45 to 60k INR


    Help me out guys.....

    do not much know abt these things but i think a laptop will be cheaper in australia., so why dont u buy it from there only?

    if you want to buy from INDIA then go with Dell Inspiron 1520

    it got everything you looking for and i am sure they give global support too but you have to pay extra for that. check their site.

    Wherever you buy it from, just make sure that it's provided with a good online support. You never know what might happen. You have to be sure that the machine you're buying is going to be fixed in case something goes wrong.
