    Hi!:)
I do not have any knowledge about SEO. Here in DP I work as a content writer. I am very much interested in SEO. Can anybody tell me in which institutes in India(Delhi) this course is available and by which name??
What is the minimum education qualification for that? I am doing my post graduation in health sciences from Delhi University.
    Thanks

there is no college or institute offering courses in SEO. although you will find some training institutes in and around Delhi but don't waste your money there. learn it by yourself. start by reading Matt Cutts blog, download some SEO e-book, do read the SEO section of DP on daily basis. if possible register for webmasterworld forum.
no educational qualification is required to learn SEO, but you must know HTML. CSS will be a good add-on :)

The best part of the internet is that you need not be educated to do something. The only requirement is that you should know English.

Anyways, go to www.axandra.com and download their free trial version of the IBP. Read all the documents and it will teach you everything. Also, subscribe to their newsletter to get the latest SEO news. But, don't expect Axandra to teach you nor send them any emails since they always answer to the point.

And once you able to understand, buy the basic or business version and get started.

    Hope that helps you friend.

There are many free SEO courses available online, just google for one.
Read the DP SEO section and you'll start to be able to answer questions before too long.

    SEO focus is mainly on

*Keyword research based on good traffic and low competition
    *SERP's (search engine result pages)
*Relevant niche link building in quality (Google PR) utilizing an anchor keyword
*Relevant niche link building in quantity (link popularity) utilizing an anchor keyword
*Site content with a focus on the anchor keyword you used in your link building
    *Monetizing efforts for your site.

There are many more things to learn mainly the techniques involved in doing the things listed above and as said by others in this post you can always google it to learn more. The best way to learn SEO is learning from others and at your own pace and with trail by era (tweaking) to achieve good results in SEO.
