hi mate i have see some thread at here write that duplicate content no very useful when we submit to article directory. my question is, how about the fresh article is from our site and we submit it at article directory without editing again, is this included duplicate content according google? or it still unique content? thanks
Duplicate content plays two ways, as a whole on the web and on a site. Just pulling an article from your site is no good. Bette than ripping it from the article site, but still not good. You gotta rewrite it, spin it, make it new. I aim for 60% orig.
if your article is cached and indexed then added to article directory it is the directory that has duplicate content not your site.
Aside form Google, some article directories use a copyscape like search for preexisting versions of an article, which may be cause for rejection. I'm not all that clear as to the Google advantage in being the "originator" of an article, there's plenty of famous classical literature on multiple on sites that show up in search results along with the originator. Some believe that duplicate content is only a problem when it occurs within a single site. Ideally, you will have a quality article that others will copy to their sites, providing you additional backlinks, illegible spun junk will not get selected to appear on ither sites.
I carefully wrote an original article, then I got someone to spin and submit to some sites. Admittedly, it wasn't costly, but it wasn't worth it in the end either. The spun articles are readable but awkward, sometimes meaningless. Actually, I'm glad it wasn't submitted to higher PR sites. My experience is that the auto 'spin and submit' thing doesn't really work.
if you'll copy it as is and put it to another site, then it is duplicate content.. it is safer to use other content instead
