Want Some War Movies!!!

I have shifted my mood after watching few genre of movies towards war movies. Recently I saw Saving priavte ryan, that led me to look for more.

Suggest me some good war movies of this type.
I have already seen LOTR, Saving Private Ryan, Alexander, Pearl Harbour.....but now want some more...

And dont get confused in war and action movies. I am in search of good war movies

I didn't think Jarhead was that great, no much military action

 

If you liked Saving Private Ryan I think you really enjoy Band of Brothers, Its a series about easy company they were paratroopers in WWII. Also I would recommand Black Hawk Down which is a good military/action film

 

You must watch Enemy At The Gates. It's a great movie, one of my favorites.

 

Platoon - it's old, but intense

 

The Bridge on the River Kwai, Schindler's List, The Great Escape and The Guns of Navarone are few evergreen War classics

 

A Bridge too Far and Soldier of Orange are real good WW2 movies.

 

Great movie, my list was missing this one

Full Metal Jacket is another good one.

I have seen THE CONVENANT. It was not a war movie. I believe it was about few boys which were of some ipswitch colony or somewhat with special powers. But its so nice of you that you gave me a suggestion. Keep giving suggestions because every suggestion is precious for me and matters to me alot!!

How about "Helen of Troy" or "Gladiator" if you like those classic war.
