Want script to search text & display results from mysql databases

I have bought several databases on DP and yet haven't figured out how to use them.

I have spent hours searching for a free or low cost configurable mysql database search? script. Probably the fact that I don't even know what to call it is a problem - so I am aksing for help. I hope this is the right thread.

I simply want to be able to put the mysql databases up on different sites and have a script that will search them and display results on web pages.

Databases like all lawyers in the US - so I would want people to be able to search the types of lawyers ( criminal, civil, etc.) and be able to find them in their area of the country and maybe one or two other criteria.

Something that would allow me to make different searches for different databases but all similar to the above example.

I am looking for something easy to use - I have noticed other posts of people looking for the same thing. I would think this would be some standard script. If you know of one or have one to sell please post or PM me. If you are selling one for a good price, I am sure you could sell many around here to other confused newby database people.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I have an ajax script that can be used and I can help you modify it. I use the script here:
    http://www.azurebloom.net/dictionary/word/index.php

It can be modified of course to your databases.

We can do $5.00 for the script and $2.00 for each search you want me to setup for you.

Answering your PM now. I was thinking $5.00 for the script and $2.00 for each search setup.

My host provides PHPMyAdmin. Do you have something similar available?

rchrf - thanks very much for your interest - I do have PHPMyAdmin but I think I am going to go ahead and try Glasglows solution to see if I can get that to work. I will post my results so if others are in need of a solution - they may be able to find it here also.
