Want Quick index in Google

    I am using wp blog and its fantastic. Wp have good SEO. Whenever i post any new post then it got indexed in google within 2 minutes :banana:

    I have started with ipb forums, 3 months old but seo is not good as wp. It takes to index sometimes more than 1 week. Why??

    How to improve it??

    people are also posting images which are from image hosting sites, may be posted on other sites but there ares still many threads which are original like discussion over a current topic, introduction, etc

    Doesn't matter if it's original content or not. Just depends if you are getting natural links to your pages or not.

    Could we see a link to your forum, maybe then I could give you my thoughts on whether it is worth it at this time to invest heavily in SEO. Early on in a forum's life, before the community picks up momentum, it is not generally worth SEO because people coming off search engines want a board that's already thriving. It does depend somewhat on what your forum is about though.

    A forum needs a lot more regular attention and maintenance than a blog in order to do well.
