    Cool site - 1st thing I'd do is put a bookmark service up so people will add your site to digg, delicious, stumbleupon, and the rest. This will also give you more credentials at Google.

    Change your title to "what is my ideal job" (use caps) - was an auto fill-in at Google

    Go to Yahoo answers -search same terms - reply

    meta name="description" content=""
    -- place description within quotes (this is your page head)

    </script>


    Place all this (lots of content SE's need to go thru) on another page

    the ideal job (link top right) - change to my ideal job
    Set up your ideal job! - change to What Is My Ideal Job? (in blue img/header-bg.png)
    This will retain keywords throughout - you should soon get Google page one for this search. If not, get a backlinks package here at DP.

    I suggest you to build quality back-links to your site - better do link-exchange with relevant site..

    Use Social Media to promote your site - use Twitter, FaceBook - just give valuable information in respective community...!

    Submit your site in Social Bookmarking sites - use SB sites like Dig, Diigo. Delicious, Mix, etc..

    The more and more traffic you want the more it will needs publicity. So keep regular participation in jobs related forums and write addictive articles. This is not a single day job but requires hard as well as smart work for first few months.

    I own, run , and have created my site .... http://hotjobs100.com . I had it for 3 years. Before I was getting like maybe 9 visitors a day, last year,, Now I am lucky to get 3 visits a day. What am I doing wrong?? Is my meta tags not correct?? How can I increase the visits on my site?

    According to Yahoo explorer you have 22 backlinks - and most of those are from craigslist - look at how many links the top jobs site have - it's going to be in the thousands. Backlinks get you better positions on serps and if well placed bring you traffic. You can't just put a site up and assume that people will find it without you doing any promotion.
