Not quite sure, it´s already a PR6. What does it take to move it up 2 points and possibly 3?

I doubt it--- That site has 4 PR9 and I think 40 PR8. That would equal to lots of KKK PR6---and we have just few of them. Not even 1 K I guess.

 

I think that the key would be more links from sources not connected to DP.

true But I believe if there are enough new sites linking to you which don´t link to everyone on DP, it doesn´t even have to be sites like those to jump up to a 7 or 8. I know, a 9 will be hard, but who knows who will come in to help once you get your way up there.

The key is to get started and then keep on going and then see where it takes you!

 

It doesn't have to just be directory's though does it? Off the top of my head i can name about 30-40 PR6 directory's, but there is way way more.

 

I reckon 25 PR8's, 150 PR7's or 1500 PR6's would do it.

 

What about getting them too fast and being peanalised, it would take a while to compile all the links so it was done properly unless you were Matt Cutts or someone along those lines. 150 pr7's Again to name pr7 dirs or the top of my head, worldhot, ND, Aviva, Alive ect... There is a few more im sure but i dont think there is 150.

I am not convinced--there must be a minimum of 1 PR9 --whatever other links count are.

 

I think that buying links like that can hurt your rankings but I don't think it effects PR.

Not true - Do you need a PR5 link to get to PR5, you don't several PR4 links can do it, those are just guesses obviously.

Look at Statcounter.com that is a PR10 and it doesn't have any PR9 links or probably any 8's for that matter.

 

The OP says there is 136 PR7 but don't know if they are directories.

My blog network has got a LOT of strong HIGH PR backlinks. I am expecting PR6 and hoping PR7 for the main feed blog. I could contribute 200+ backlinks
x however many individiual article page backlinks to this sharing thing if I can get me some link love. After all, is not a blog similar to a directory??
