Check your settings. Shawn just added an option where you can get rid of any weight that you don't want, for example if you got too much weight and you might get GoogleBowled for too many back-links.

 

Okay Nintendo... time for you to turn on the weight cap so us little guys can compete

 

Two weeks ago I would of turned a lot of weight off. Now I'm testing out other stuff with my extra 324,447 pounds of fat.

I'm guessing if you turn some weight off, other people do get some extra ad views, since your site would probably show more ads than the number of times your ads show up.

 

You probably wouldn't like that if you ended up banned from geting Google Bowled, from too many back-links!!! Just a few K is needed to get found by the search engines!!!

How about an option where you can cap it for individual sites, i.e. instead of the weight% there is currently, how about an option where you can just enter the total weight you want pointed at the URL and you can designate a site to pick up any 'spare' weight that you have?

 

I think you mean ads, entering a weight number in each ad that you make. The current change caps it for each individual site that you place the ads on.

I think Shawn wants it as easy as possible to use. Also having a weight number to give each ad might me a challenge for the n00bies.

 

You're right, it would be more complicated, though it would still be a helpful thing to have if you have lots of weight, multiple ads and multiple sites.

It would be more effective to be able to manipulate the exact amount of weight sent to sites over time. You could slightly increase it each week to avoid penalties. It would be easier to do this without affecting the weight going to your other sites at the same time.

 

Why not add a n00b mode and an advance mode on the control panel, when clicking the advance mode, you get access to more features.

 

That would be a good idea. I understand what Nintendo means when he says it would be harder for Noobs to use, and also you wouldn't need that functionality with just one site on the account.
However when your account starts to become more cluttered it would be good to have more control over exactly how many linsk you're sending to each site.

I think it would be a great idea to be able to "donate" our weight to other members.

 

It's not unused, I'd just like to have more control over where it's sent

 

That would probably be OK to do now...unless it would be called renting weight for $0.00!!!!!

Are you suggesting a 'donate' weight box, or what ever is above the cap, to a pool that we all can 'draw' from?

well, that's actually why the weight which is over the weight cap would be put in a general pool.

Then it would search for people who's weight hasn't reach their cap yet and give them the additional weight.

But I don't really see the point of this The goal of weight is actually to have better possibility of being shown on others website...

If their was a weight waste pool, you could have 'the biggest loser competitions', of who can shed/discard the most waste into the pool.

Seriously though, i like it how it is, weight pools would be lame. If you want more weight do what i do. Add more content, make more sites, sleep with google(TM), add more content...
