I need a unmetered master reseller hosting to start a hosting business. any reliable hosting around here in dp. I have seen most of the people who sold master or alpha master accounts are gone and banned. Most members(even senior) lost their money with these scams. Recommend me any reliable hosting company that could be cheap(I getting started). Need your suggestions...
people selling alpha and master reselling getting banned should tell you something about it I would recommend you stick with a regular reseller because they tend to be more reliable and don't go for oversellers, people selling you 100gb space for $5/month is overselling and they will most likely shut down in the future - they are just looking for short term profits do you have any space/bandwidth specs in mind? And what about a budget? I may be able to help you with reseller hosting but not master or alpha master reseller accounts.
I personally offer Master Resellers, but I recommend resellers to my clients. I have several Master Reseller plans available if your interested. Most of which are under $20.00 a month. ( I'm not posting any other details because it's against DP terms )
Before you purchase something, you may need to do your own research. We can only offer our suggestion, but the research is your responsible. Normally, reliable "unmetered" master reseller is good at few months, but after that it become problems and more problems. People always seems like crazy about "unmetered" and ignore the fact (ignore my sig as I only hired to put it on my sig. lol!) that "unmetered" aka "unlimited" is not exist (Note: unmetered is sister of unlimited ... twins alike!). I personally dislike "unmetered" advertisement. Oh back to the topic, you did not specify what kind of alpha master/master reseller you intend to have. Is it an offshore or onshore?
We suggest you a VPS for a good start, Master resellers are not very reliable. But anyway you could go with mellowhost.com
The idea of master resellers is great but it's a flawed concept. It would be better if you found a reliable host who would then be able to provide you further reseller accounts at discounted prices for you to sell on as your own. Drop me a PM if you need.
I agree, there is only one alpha master reseller person on here I would say is reliable. However, I don't usually recommend them to anyone. Unlimited/unmetered is a horrible LIE. It is only an advertisement sceme and they limit you in other areas. Generally most hosts oversell a little. But we don't lie on what you will get, and we monitor it closely and only keep a 70% server before adding clients to new ones. If you want to sell reseller hosting get a VPS. If you want to just get your foot in the door get a shared hosting plan. I don't offer resellers atm so don't click on my sig lol.
many restrict comment about unmetered/unlimited, looks like hostmonster and new plan unlimited at hostgator will closed mellowhost is awsome, 24 support is real...
I would recommend mellowhost.com... they're not really perfect, but over all, they are great. Fast support, fast servers, never been down for 1 month unless there will be some issues and they have been in business for 2 years (since 2007)
