    Hi,

By far this one has to be one of the best I've seen: http://www.semiologic.com/software/sem-theme/. Sooooo useful. And has a bunch of great plugins bundled with it. All you have to do is upload 1 folder and you have a great template with 3 different skins and half a dozen or more plugins!

    Love it!

    Regards,

    Sunshine

That's a nice looking template. One thing I would use is the static homepage feature and the recent comments display would be useful as well.

I thought I remember seeing a huge list of some 700 odd themes on one webpage somewhere. Does that ring a bell with anyone? Can you post a link?

Are you talking about the WordPress Theme Directory?

I like to get themes from V4NY. She has some pretty nice ones and I find them pretty easy to edit.

I use Semiologic for 4 different sites and like it a lot. I've used many a theme in my day, but this is the first one that I've actually wanted to use over and over again. I wouldn't say it is the easiest for Wordpress beginners to customize beyond the plugins though. Best if you sort of know your way around the Wordpress loop.
