So you have to update the news everyday by yourself? Thats seems crazy. It should be modified to pull in rss feeds and load the news.

Can adsense be added into the actual articles instead of on the side of the articles

You cn definetely have rss blocks fetching news from external sites. I dont prefer it cos it would be lots of external links & I would be driving ppl away frm my site. If you know postnuke, you would know that adding rss feeds is very simple to your site.

You can put up a cron-job to pull up news using RSS, every 1 or 2 or 6 hours or may be once a day. It would make life a little easy.

I have a news website as well, which is grabbing news form CNN, Washingtonpost, Yahoo News, Google News, BBC and many other websites, i am using cronjob to pull up news every 6 hours and its running perfectly.

Id like a news site. Id want it to pull in all the news iteself though, and keep the whole news article on my website without sending the user away that way I can integrate adsense into the articles and keep people interested in the website instead of sending them to a CNN or something for the story. I dont know if you can do this though.

    Something like google news ;)

I have seen a few scripts that are capable of fetching the headlines as well as the content from the websites which are RSS enabled.

But you will have to manually run that application and download the data, once downloaded it integrates it into templates and then you wolud have to upload it onto your server. Although i havent tried that application, but they claim on their website that it is capable of grabbing content from RSS(not just headlines).

Considering you are building a news website which would contain news from all over the world, it could be quite a task to keep your website upto date manually since you cannot setup a cron for this kind of work.

Yes for sure, the news sites. All or 99.99% offer the feed to attract visitors, if you try and get around that you will end up with trouble IMO. I would suggest using a combonation of feeds and good ole "cutting and pasting" (giving proper credit of course). That is what I do on a couple of my movie sites, www.BestComedyMovie.com and www.FeatureFilm.biz.
