It's very easy to earn $500 in a month. However, I recommend making a thread that, instead of saying what you want, says what you can offer to people. Give them the information they need (what niche you write, how much per word you charge, etc, etc) and they will be more inclined to hire you.
Since the beginning of February I have made $500+ a month article writing. It is very easy if you proivde high quality, customers will keep coming back to you with more order, and may be willing to pay a higher price, knowing the quality you offer. I no longer need to advertise my service or reply to threads, customers know the quality of the service I offer and I get 1 or 2 PM's a day inquiring about my services.
That is true. In fact, what I was suggesting is a branch of that, using a system like PayPerPost to get started. Their guidelines are strict enough to help learn how to write (more specifically) a decent review of a site, product, etc., and they can pay pretty good. Especially when you have several blogs on their network. Personally, I sell my reviews (so far all have been through stuff like PPP or LinkWorth, but I do sell them myself as well), but I've yet to start selling articles. I have a hard enough time coming up with my own unique content...heh.
I am also earning from article writing but I haven't reach 500 yet. I am still in the range of 100 per month. I only have one regular client yet.
