Wanna Design Me an Awesome Logo? See my $35 Logo Contest!

Here is an update/revision to the design in response to your feedback...Jerry

 

Thanks for putting up the screenshots DustyDog... they look great.

I think I'll go with the toy on the right for now. I'm fine with everything else but is there a way you could redesign the symbol (the two pink 'Ds')?

I'm been looking at it for hours periodically and I feel that its a little overpowering the more you stare at it. Two big pink blobs/circles of pink on a white background right at the top can be a little too strong...

Maybe you could come up with a design that is a little more subtle? I don't mind the current color but if you want to experiment with other colors, its fine with me as well.

It isn't web 2.0 enough for my liking, although the symbol you used was interesting. The overall brightness of it makes it a little difficult to read as well ..

 

Thanks KevinChristman.. the overall design feels a little too bright and can be a little difficult to read. The bubble doesn't add to the overall gist of the design and can feel a little vague, if you know what I mean..

Just to level with everyone ... currently I find Dusty Dog's design to be the most suitable for my site. But the contest is still open and I'll definitely end it as soon as I get a design that I really like from anyone. This way, I won't waste all your time and hard work.

Very nice Kevin.. I like the color but it might not go too well with the rest of the site, which mainly has black, purple and blue.. the logo also doesn't seem to be tight enough, there's a lot of blank space which doesn't make it seem focused.. the repetition of the site name in the circle might also be unnecessary.

But its a pretty nice logo all in all..Thanks!

It's just a fun logo to make I guess. Hope you like this one a little better.

 

Thanks DaveyBoy.. it looks pretty good! The logo is might be a little too big though it does stand out well at this size. Just thought it might be a little too distracting because of its size.

I do however like the edge effect on the right side of the page, pretty creative. And the color scheme is nice!

Do you have any other logo designs? Would love to see more

 

Glad you're having fun Kevin lol.. this logo looks neat although the grey in the circle kinda neutralizes the vibrancy of the blue and pink.. the font isn't really what I had in mind as well.. maybe more reflections and a different font might be good.

 

I thought the idea was to make it powerful. Afterall, you want people to stare at it. Haha. Regardless, I have 3 colour combinations here:

Pink - Less over-powering.
Green
Blue



.... all done on the one without the toy to the right. D'oh! But you get the idea!

 

I can certainly make it smaller, the proportions etc. can be changed.

I will try to create another concept too.
