wanna buy a mobile phone.. need suggestions! (india)

heya friends.. i need some piece of advice.. i'm planning to buy a mobile.. so, wanna can any recommend me which connection (GSM) should i opt for? (i'm in delhi)

i want the following features:
* 500 sms/month (something like cheap sms card would do fine..)
* not very high call rates
* good roaming network

i would also like some advice regarding which handset i should buy..
* cost: Rs. 7000 (max) (new mobile with bill/gaurantee)
* atleast 2mpixel camera
* new softwares can be installed
* other cool features wouldnt hurt either

I am using Sony ericsson k550i.. so far. it looks great.It is 10,800/-

It depends on the card.. not the mobile I'm using Airtel..

 

you can go for N series of nokia as they range fron 7k-20k and al the above features wil be available and u can use vodafone card as they are offering many schemes such as 35 rs bonus card for 300 sms , 150 rs card for 1000mins vodafone to vodafone n use a std card too , then ur std call rates wil be 1 rs so i prefer u vodafone as m also using that so happy shopping

 

i was planning to go for Nokia N72.. but the k550i looks cooler

can you plz give more information about it.. i mean a kind of review..

also, i wanna know can i install additional softwares in it?

 

u can go for 5300 man and airtel is costly dude.. i am from india too i am Karnataka btw was in delhi was few months...

Yeah, N series of Nokia are good. I am currently using Nokia N91.

 

I think u should get an Chinese phone it's cost u around about 3k-4k and u can get lot of new models at that section
i am also using it for last 1 year and thinks it's worth for it's cost
and about connection take 444 plan of hutch.....
