WalkingSnake Tech Blog, 600+ Uniques a Day!

    I'm selling my technology/humor/anything blog.

It's recently gained newfound success, as it's starting to receive over 800 uniques a day on occasion because of recent images showing up in Google Image Search. Since this is from a search engine, the number should stay steady, and can increase with some work.

Hundreds of hours were spent customizing the design and the coding to get the website to look right and work right. While the design is not unique, it has been customized a great deal to fit the website. I feel it has a high potential for a nice profit if a little work is spent monetizing the blog and making it more search-engine friendly.

It has over 130 posts, each being unique in content.

Right now it's PR4, but I have a feeling that will increase as hits have more than tripled since last PR update.

The uniques and pageviews count are estimated for the month. Like I said, the success is recent, and so far in April I've recieve 8,500 uniques. I think it's safe to estimate the month will round out at around 12,000.

It has also been "stumbled" a couple times, causing it to recieve 18k uniques in one month last year. I have a feeling this number could be normal with the recent success the blog is having with search engines. Of course, this means more views and potentially more ad clicks.

I haven't monetized it to earn revenue, but I believe that with the right ad placement, it could be a real money maker. Right now I'm not making much from ads, simply because I haven't placed any besides a simple sidebar ad.

Another potential money maker is the use of services such as PayPerPost, in which I've made over $100 profit using in a month.

Hosting is currently $4.95 a month and hosted with ResellerZoom.

A good majority of the traffic is from Google and direct addresses, with some coming from links on other websites. It actually does have quite a few readers and feed subscriptions.
