Yes, this is a GREAT post thread.

I have tested DL verses landing pages on Google, Yahoo, MSN and LP always out performs DL. I agree that a LP adds some credibility to the sales page and it also softens the blow with some usful content (review). It is like a "friend recommending" something, its soft and easy. Then they know when they go to the sales page it will be the "salesman pitching" something. But that is okay because they had a friend make the introduction.

I have one of the top selling clickbank products (around 200 at $50 per day) and certainly one of the top converting sales pages in that price range. And yet DL doesn't work well. I would absolutely love to create a "Direct Linking Sales Page" that was geared more for DL's.

Any ideas on what would make a good DL sales page? I agree that well known products can use DL with more success but without a million dollar ad campaign and a few years of PR, i don't see that happening right away. So any thoughts on creating a DL friendly sales page? More content at top of page? More "helpful hints/training" on top of page. More testimonials on top of page? Video/audio? Having a 2 or 3 step process where the user has to click to go to the next page? Its all about split testing it (which we do religiously) but i'm love to hear some ideas then i can implement and give some feedback.

Also, i would love to see some examples of DL sales page that do work well. Perferably in the "info product" type niche. If you know of any, can you share.

My clickbank product sales page is GreenDIYenergy.com.

If i can get some good ideas, i'll test them and report to this thread with what i learn.

I have not had much luck with DL, and had a few losing campaigns.

Given I do not see which keywords convert on the vendor's landing page, it seems very difficult to be successful as a cb affiliate with Google Adwords.

Any ideas how to track converting keywords as a cb affiliate?

Also, the best I could get was a quality score of 6/10, any great guides for getting like 10/10 quality score?
