Internet marketing forums are one of the best places to sell ebooks. Many are doing that successfully.
Clickbank is fine, also, you'll find in a passive way a lot of partners there. We do recommend use Clickbank among other low-budget method to attract leads (see signature).
eBay is for direct selling. Clickbank is a payment processor who can also get you affiliates to sell your product. Why not list your ebook on Clickbank and then add it to ebay?

I would start by creating your own website(s) for the product. Then look at clickbank and ebay. A good place to start is plruploader
GO for all if you have lot of stocks. If you are merchant , may go with amazon as well. Amazon selling good in book compare to ebay and clickbanks which they able to sell more in electronic product.
In my personal opinion if you are not already skilled in running a publishing house, the best approach is to submit to an epublisher with a proven record of getting good sales.
Build a website/ sales page and use Jvzoo.com. It's free to use unlike Clickbank and provides a great system to get affiliates with as well. Be sure to list your book on this forum and on Warrior forum. Also remember to have a way to gather email addresses so that you can upsell your buyers at a later time. Best of luck!
If you have time then build blog with content about your ebook. You can make community which will be interested in your niche.
Clickbank is good if you look at them as the gateway and not depend on their marketing (especially of you are new and have limited resources). After listing with them, you will still have to do your own marketing at many of the places mentioned in this thread. Good luck!
