Well it seems I've just been sandboxed. Lost all my rankings for all my terms, over 6 months of work gone down the drain. Today equates to quite a shitty day hahaha, I'm still in the index, for link: sitename but I just used a tool to find all my rankings and none exist. Like even my name was wiped.
Site url? If your coming up using the link: method, it doesn't mean anything, other than Google still has a record of sites linking to you. The scenario you describe doesn't sound like a sandbox issue, it sounds like you've been deindexed/banned
Not banned because if I was I wouldn't be indexed, I am still indexed. I'm taking it well because I can't really do anything about it. The site is Spartan Saving.
I went to your site and your links bring back 404 errors, could something be wrong with your host by any chance?
Hmm. When I type in Spartan Saving in quotation marks, you still come up #1 on Google (#5 without quotes). EDIT: BTW, also #1 in Yahoo and #1/2 in MSN. Nice.
Yeah so it's not deindexed. Hwould where did you see the 404's? I just checked and everything is fine on my end, and I'm recording normal traffic from other sources viewing multiple pages.
Ah don't go to ma8.mobi thats not the one, Spartan saving is www.spartansaving .com. Ma8.mobi is a test site.
you are NOT sandboxed. You have been penalized. I have been through the same thing many times myself and used to think it was the sandbox but it isn't. I see exactly why you were penalized..remember google isnt stupid...try to take advantage and they will penalize you...whether you meant to take advantage or not. There really is no sandbox...there are many filters in place by google...when you trip one of those filters...google will place a penalty it deems fit. People say they have been sandboxed because thats the only explanation they can come up with...and I know the feeling.
I used to term sandbox because as I know it there is no other word for what I'm experiencing. Sandbox is usually for new websites. How long have you been penalized?
i was penalized for 6 months before I realized what the problem was...and it was something I was doing wrong...you are doing the same thing...you even mentioned it in this very thread.
