Wacom tablet?

I am not entirely sure what these are called but I am looking for something like a wacom tablet (ebay) but a cheaper alternative, I just want something where I can use a pen and draw onto a pad and it'll come out on my screen, thanks for the help.

 

I know this is a very old post, but I would like to know if there is a tablet out there that performs the same as wacom but cheaper on the price?
