I want to apply for "W3Schools Certificates for HTML" Currently I am able to pass HTML Quiz with 100% marks. And I think I have goo knowledge but I want to get some Ideas from people who have given this exam and passed on what type of question they give and is it possible to pass out the exam, If I am working on html from a year ?? haven't learn't from anywhere.

Please tell the area from where the questions from where the most of questions come.

You...Have...Good...Knowledge. But I Think The Exam Will Be Totally Deference. Coz I M MCPD Certified. I Had Huge Knowledge.
But I Needed Vendor Q To Pass The Exam. Coz The Q Was Too Long to Ans. It Was Not Possible To Read The Q And Ans The Q.
Time Was Not sufficient. So I took Help of The Vendor Q.
Have Some Site Who r publish The Test Q Paper. You Can take The Help From Those Site. Just Search The Google.
Ohh..i..Think..You Have To Remember The key Word Of The Ans. My Exam Was Like That. I Hope Your Exam Will be Like That.

You can probably get the certificate with no problem - but it's worthless. No one who actually knows about HTML gives it any credit, since W3Schools is so incorrect and outdated in so many things.

    Yeah, W3Schools certifications are worthless.

Pretty comforting to know ... has this been your experience?
I've got HTML basics down, but still absorbing/applying as much as I can learn about the language and coding websites. I'd like to start doing some small work here and there for local businesses or my church by next summer. However, I'm nervous that even if I am able to produce nice, professional work, companies will not consider me due to lack of a degree.
Do you find that most are actually more interested in the work you've done opposed to the degree/certification you hold?

And to the OP (as to not hijack the thread entirely): are you trying to get the cert for personal or professional accreditation? If professional, I'd agree w/ the others and say save your money.

You may be better off working on examples to show as your portfolio. It's a better guide to your abilities than the certification.
Sign up to be a developer at sites like Elance and Guru so you can bid on design jobs being posted. It will also give you an idea of what the competition is charging (and what skills you're up against).

Yup... We can easily study HTML from W3Schools. It is categorized into several chapters. So I think it is a nice resource for learning HTML.

Yes. W3schools is a outdated and you can find many info about w3schools at http://w3fools.com/ . Tizag http://www.tizag.com/ is a good one to learn html/css.. I think you don't require any certifications to html, css. If you are going to follow php zend certification is worth to have.

It raises money for W3Schools. Otherwise it has no value.

He read this on a forum somewhere a year ago and it will stick with him forever even though it hasn't been true for quite a while.
