W3C Validation

    Hello All

I'm new to this forum so please forgive me if this post is a repeated one or is in violation of any rules.

My question is: Is the W3C Validation just needed for index.htm or do I have to validate all pages of the site? I'm betting on the first choice... but i'm not an expert.

    Thanks in advance

    Hi, welcome. :)

Technically all your pages should validate, the whole site should.

If you're using a template, then you can run a validation test on a template file with no content in it - if you're building with includes then this means you only really need the one test, and so long as the template validates and you're not doing anything silly with your content, then the whole site should be fine in validation terms.

    Hope that helps. :)
