Im just trying to build good traffic stats and traffic to the site. My plan is just to sell this site. people dont buy sites with no traffic It's a brand new site, I generally try not to put ads on new sites as it looks bad i think.
Congrats man, I know the feeling. 3 days ago I hit my first Digg homepage, and it has over 5400 diggs now. =) (75,000 visitors)

people don't buy sites with no revenue either. your losing out without collecting revenue unless your going for that "oh i never optimized it so it could be worth millions" look.
with traffic, image hosting sites can easily make money. There are many ways of making money from image hosting sites besides ads. Heck, just make upgraded accounts and people will buy them. if i visit a website that i know is new and it has ads all over the place, it turns me off to the site. It shows they aren't really going for the customer, but for the ad money. I'd rather get long term traffic that sticks around than quick traffic that visits only once.
Right now, yes. But my other profits from other programs fund this, and I plan to sell this for obviously more than I put in, so it's worth the initial cost upfront. No biggy.
if you plan to sell, you should sell it now IMO. while you're getting traffic. you can never be sure if you will have another shot at the front page or huge traffic in future.
Haha I made it to top10 of the day I'll post final traffic stats at the end of the day when i have exact figures.
