Hello all , I have seen a few W-8BEN topics posted on this forum previously , am still to find any posts regarding the actual signing of the form. I notice most marketing companies require this form to be filled out , before you start marketing there products -that is if you are a foreign affiliate with no wishes for the company to with hold 30% of your accrued amount for tax. How would a foreign affiliate go about signing this form electronically? It says it must be signed , even though every other field in that form can be electronically assigned with your details , but not the signature field . So how does this work? Cheers .
