A word of warning. They do not honor the 28 day refund policy on there web hosting website. Freddy I only hosted 1 week with them and out of that week was up a total of 3 days. I switched hosts and ask for a refund, but they refused. They refused to give me a refund, even under threat of giving them a neg itrader. They just laughed at me. The support offered was not that great either. The phone number listed on the website was only answered once out of the many times I tried calling them. The online support was lacking as it was broken when the servers went down and stayed down for HOURS at a time. Warning!! They are a terrible host and I would stay away from them. Come to find out there are others that got scammed by this host. Freddy with VT16.com just deleted OSHQ.com... Thanks pal. Do NOT use vt16.com or largeserver.ne Beware of vt16.com hosting!!!! .
Oh come on dude... Freddy is a good host and you really should stop posting this in his threads unless you like infractions. It was not Freddy's fault that he had downtime. It was LargeServer. Also, The thing about Freddy Hacking OSHQ was crap. We did a poll and DP members agreed that he was innocent (Check here) - Cameron
1) I am not posting anything untrue. 2) Freddy is not a good host. All there NL hosting accounts they did the old bait and switch. They dump everyone on LargeServer without warning and even though my hosting with vt16.com proceed to tell me "It's not longer my problem". "Talk to LargeServer". When I sign up through there website and ask for a refund from them. What proceeded was them laughing at me and everyone else they dropped and didn't refund. I wouldn't call Freddy a good host at all. I would call them a liar and a scammer. That old bait and switch was done to me on here. On top of that they said they hate the US money system, but are eager to get paid by US customers. It's was $9.95 they took from me and refused to refund. What makes you think if they did this to me and the other people on the NL hosting over just $9.95 they will not do it to other people? .
Hello Exodus, i never said i hated the US money system! What i said i hated about us was their law system, when you can sue someone because you hurt your arm when you tried to rob someones car! The system is practicly insane! And the reason you didnt get a refund ? Was because you threatend with a neg itrader + you were going to sue me! And yes, it was all on Largeserver and we sent out mails twice about the swith! If i laughed at all the customers ? Then why did i get a new server and take them all back up with the backups i had after Largeserver dumped them ? Is that what you call a scammer ? PS; The mail and hosting account wasnt even yours, you didnt own the hosting account nor did you own the mail or the paypal email! So i dont understand why you would ask for a refund?
Your showing your contempt for your customers as always. Still no refund for the services no rendered. Still not honoring your policies. Still disrespecting your customers. As was explained to you. My business associates and I, our company purchased the hosting as a whole. So, we each owned the hosting account. Anyhow, I'll get the "owner" of the account to post. Hey, look they ask for a refund in the other thread you started just like this one they didn't get. See you just admitted to no refund and not honoring your policy. You passed the blame to Largeserver originally. Others that ask for a refund (look at the post) and you gave the same excuse, contact Largeserver for the refund not you. Your still passing the blame, but this time your passing it back onto me. Wow, yeah what a great guy to do that!! Not at all, I would call you a shady person. Anyone thinking about signing up with your hosting company should be aware of your practices of non refund and bait and switch tactics. Plus, your S.L.A. is a complete fraud. The uptime on the server was not close to what it said. All you have to do is refund the payment for the services you didn't give us. Easy enough or are you still refusing to honor your refund policy? They asked you for a refund and haven't gotten it. Is this what everyone else to expect from you? I am sure it is. Lol, Listen to my part of the story! Freddy had his The Netherlands server / VPS with us. Firstly, he had no cPanel license issued from us yet he wanted our cPanel template - I told him that no support what so ever will be given from us and that he should manage it himself else, he can install cPanel by himself from scratch. He agreed and there was some weird quota issue. First off, like his instincts he blamed it on our node. I believed him cause I had seen such problems earlier on, but the weired thing was that LxAdmin and DirectAdmin worked fine and the quotas showed up properly on these systems. So it was evident that he had screwed it up. Some quarreling went on and I decided that I'll give him 24 hours to pack up and leave and yes I DID REFUND HIM (after all the fuss he made to pay while signing up). Then he brought in some real kid, LargeSever; he asked me another 24 hours for the VPS to be kept online while he transfered all the accounts to his server. So I gave both these kids 2 days in exchange for a whole load of swearing from Freddy - goh, its all in the business and I threw it over my back. Its pretty obvious that everyone should avoid this dude (vt16 hosting) at all costs. Shady in deed!
