You have a pretty decent budget, This should be very plausible for you! How much of that space do you actually use?
that's actually a good offer, I'd stick with it if I were you but you should also look at the company and get some reviews if possible - just to be on the safe side good luck.
I don't actually use a lot of disk space, it's more for my clients. My sites probably consume only a couple of gigs, 5GB at the most, it's more of the higher resources my sites consume (Drupal powered).
http://buzzservers.com/vps.html is the cheapest I know. But they don't offer your disk space and a cPanel license is $15 a month extra. Good luck, your budget is a bit small though.
i think the budget is pretty good actually. specially for a VPS. for OP: check RapidVPS , they include CPanel for about 40.00 space might not be what you wanted originally. but if you dont need much it would be perfect Good luck and keep us posted!
Thank you for the replies, and also the PMs. The reason why I am looking to switch is because the promotion that I used with my current host (50% off the first month) they are not honoring it properly and are asking me to pay the full $40 for the next month even though I have barely been hosted with them for two weeks! I paid the promotional priced bill and now they are asking me for $40 when I should still have at least 2 more weeks of hosting
UPDATE: I have found a host that will provide me with the following for a little less than $40 USD/month. cPanel license Fully Managed Support 35 GB Space FREE UPGRADE to 52.5 GB 5 Mbps Unmetered Bandwidth 576 MB RAM 2048 MB Burstable RAM 2 IP Addresses I am still open to offers within the next few days. If you can beat less than $40USD/month by all means please do PM me. I need at least 40GB of disk space and at least 512 RAM, please do keep that in mind. I don't mind smaller bandwidth amounts however.
