    Hi all,
Is there any detail tutorials that show newbie to configure the VPS. I am using shared host and want to upgrade to Linux VPS. However, I cannot find any material for that purpose.
    Thanks for your information.

I'd suggest you to upgrade to a fully managed vps hosting because it would become easy for you to handle the VPS. If there's any problem you can get in touch with your hosting provider to get the issue fixed.

Slicehost has a ton of great tutorials here. They have the major distros covered, but they have the most info about setting up Ubuntu.

Depends on a lot of factors. If you've never touched Linux before, don't know your way around the shell, or how to configure application and security, it'll be very hard.
