[This post is appearing on SitePoint, DP and WHT, so if you've responded on one chances are I'll see it and there's no need to post again]. Hi All, At work we've reached the point where one of our sites needs to be moved off of shared hosting. At this point I think it's overkill to move over the site to a dedicated server, so I am currently looking into VPS. Can people share with me some of their experiences with VPS companies? I've looked at a whole bunch of them, but I find that review information is lacking. This site is operational, and we do not want to deal with amateurs. Specifically I'm looking to hear about good, long term experiences with hosting companies, with relation to uptime, support, and general feeling of the company. I'm hearing good things about ProVPS, Zone, and a few others, and I'm happy to hear about other companies from satisified customers. Much Thanks, and I hope everyone enjoyed their Thanksgiving! Ari
If you want to deal seriously and make a good investment then goto dedicate server. You can find a lot of offers and prices If you are not experience buy fully managed server (I suggest you liquidweb) but there are many others very good. if you want lower cost buy unmanaged and give outsourcing managed (I recommend platinumservermanagement) . If you search the forum you will find a lot of about this matter.
Powervps has pretty good plans and vps also liquidweb vps are also good.Personally i recommend a cheap dedicated server instead of vps.. Saad
